2008 Camelsback Classic Results

On a warm but not hot afternoon the Braves had a very good opening meet for the 2008 season. The JV Boys were lead by newcomer Richard Wojan who won the race with a great surge in the final 400 meters. Following closely in an excellent pack were, Magnum Kincaid 3rd, Joe Sandoval 4th, Jasper Delight 5th and Sam Swanson 6th. They won the team race by over 40 points, 19 to 63 over Borah. The girls did nearly as well with Kate Jamboretz leading the way in 3rd place and newcomer Caley Featherstone placing 6th, Ellen Mering helped keep a good pack of Braves together with Liz Ryan 12th, Ellen 13th and Evan Gustavson 14th. The girls also topped the team scores, 45 to 58 over Vallivue. Girls complete results

The Varsity Boys opened the season with a solid effort. Lead by Eric Fitzpatrick in 2nd, Max Hardy in 3rd and Greg Montgomery in 4th, with Christian Kincaid and Kenton Freemuth rounding out the scoring in 8th and 9th. Taylor Molenaar was was 12th and Walker Grimshaw 17th. The team scored a very low 26 points to Columbia's 73. Varsity Boys complete results
