2007 Jim Danner Nike Pre Nationals

The Jim Danner Nike Pre Nationals were held at the Portland Meadows Race Track in the infield of the horse race track. The Varsity teams ran their best races of the season so far. In the Girls Varsity race Sarah Olson have an excellent race really improving her final 800 meters in placing 4th in the very good time of 18:35, Anne Lovelace placed 18th in 19:07, Jacque Sahlberg was 50th in 19:51, Kate Jamboretz 61st in 20:01, Katie Lovelace 64th in 20:02, Fiona Wilhelm 72nd in 20:08 and Rebecca Fusselman 86th in 20:22. The Girls team placed 4th behind Carondelet from Southern California, Esperanza also of Southern California, and Cherry Creek of Colorado. The Boys Varsity ran very well in placing 9th as a team; Eric Fitzpatrick was 11th in 16:008, Max Hardy placed 27th in 16:23, Greg Montgomery was 35th in 16:32, Taylor Molenaar was 70th in 17:08, Christian Kincaid 88th in 17:25, Kenton Freemuth 92nd 17:30 and Walker Grimshaw 99th in 17:55. Next meet for the Varsity will be the Boise City Meet Thursday October 11th in Ann Morrison Park. The JV's will run this Thursday the 4th in the Gary Ward Invitational at Lake View Park in Nampa.
