2007 Bob Firman Invitational

The 33rd Annual Bob Firman meet was held at Eagle Island State Park under overcast skies. The Braves did an excellent job of representing Boise High in all the races.

In the JV Girls Rebecca Fusselman lead the way with a 4th place finish, followed by Amanda Mosher in 18th, Mikayla Todd 33rd, Kerry Molina 60th, Jasmine Wilhelm 81st, Conner Shelton 82nd, Samantha Kiley 104th, Sarah Jareczek 105th, Janis Blaugher 112th, Grace Relf 113th, Haley Willison 120th, Hannah Lawrence 132nd, Meredith Murdoch 147th, Elizabeth Warner 153rd, Laura Hanson 166th, Megan O'Neil 168th, Jessica Kotter 179th, Jennifer Warner 216th, and Becca Thomas 253rd. The JV Boys had a much better week this week as everyone finished, most with seasonal or personal bests on the day. Tim Ronan was our top finisher in 50th, Henry Ross was 81st, Sam Swanson 120th, Matt Baker 137th, Sean Hart 139th, Max DeLawyer 163rd. Peter Esch 169th, Seth Hull 186th, Austin Prohl 194th, Paul Jamboretz 197th, Josh Guidicelli 219th, Alex Unger 225th, Nick Voulelis 238th, Will Tiedeman 253rd, Jackson Reid 263rd, Graham Ririe 284th, Kyle Hamlin 324th, and Atticus Thiel 356th. The Varsity Girls all raced very well while still fighting and recovering from colds. Sarah Olson improved her time running the course by 42 seconds in finishing 20th, Anne Lovelace was 42nd, Kate Jamboretz 55th, Jacque Sahlberg 58th, Fiona Wilhelm improved her time 51 seconds in finishing 89th, Katie Lovelace 90th, and Ellen Mering 111th. Each Varsity boy that ran last year on this course  improved their time, Max Hardy finished 31st 26 seconds faster than last year, Eric Fitzpatrick was 56th 15 seconds faster, Greg Montgomery was 104th, Christian Kincaid was 122nd and ran a whopping 2:02 faster, Taylor Molenaar was 123rd and ran an excellent 56 seconds faster, Kenton Freemuth was 133rd and Walker Grimshaw was 140th improving his time 58 seconds.
