2007 District III 5A Meet
On a muddy and slippery Eagle Island course the Brave Cross Country team ran perhaps their best races of the season.
The JV Girls started out the afternoon placing 2nd behind Mtn View. The girls were lead by Amanda Mosher in 2nd, Mikayla Todd 3rd, Kerry Molina 8th, Jasmine Wilhelm 10th, Connor Shelton 12th, Megan O'Neil 18th, Sarah Jareczk 20th and Samantha Kiley in 21st. Complete JV Girls results
The JV Boys continued the great efforts by placing 3rd behind Mtn View and Eagle. Sam Swanson in 9th lead the way, with Henry Ross in 10th, Tim Ronan 20th, Holger Turpo 35th, Max Delawyer 42nd, Magnum Kincaid 54th and Peter Esch 55th. Complete JV Boys results
The Varsity Girls also continued the great efforts by winning their 4th District title in a row, scoring 44 points to Mtn View's 65 in second. Sarah Olson lead the way finishing 2nd, Anne Lovelace was 3rd, Kate Jamboretz 6th, Katie Lovelace 15th, Fiona Wilhelm 18th, Rebecca Fusselman 25th and Ellen Mering 32nd Complete Varsity Girls results
The Varsity Boys ended the day on a great note defeating the top ranked team in the state, Mtn View 51 to 80. All seven members of the team had excellent efforts as each of them took care of business by each of them beating their man on the other teams. Eric Fitzpatrick showed the way in destroying the field and winning by over 23 seconds. Max Hardy was 3rd, Greg Montgomery 11th, Kenton Freemuth 15th, Taylor Molenaar 21st, Christian Kincaid 26th, and Walker Grimshaw 43rd. Complete Varsity Boys results
Next meet for the Braves will be State at Russell Freeman Park in Idaho Falls next Saturday October 27th.
