The 41st Annual Tiger Grizz meet was held at Russ Freeman Park in Idaho Falls on a newly created course. The course will also be the site of this year's state meet so it was an excellent preview for our team.

The JV Boys team did very well. Christian Kincaid had an excellent race taking the lead at about the half way point and running to a 1st place finish, his time would have placed 41st in the Varsity race. Sam Swanson had a very good race as well placing 13th, Henry Ross was 32nd, Seth Hull 71st, Peter Esch 77th, Jackson Reid 104th, and Josh Guidicelli 107th. The JV Boys finished 6th out of 17 teams. In an effort to allow some teams have their runners attend Homecoming festivities the meet schedule was adjusted so the Varsity Girls was the second race of the day and the first race by the Braves runners on this day. The girls started things off in great form as they defended their team championship in this meet for the 3rd year in a row. Freshman Kate Jamboretz ran a very good race finishing 2nd, Sarah Olson ran with the lead pack much of the way and held on for 7th, Jacque Sahlberg was a solid 12th, Anne Lovelace fighting illness kept it together for 21st and Fiona Wilhelm ran one of her best races in finishing 25th. The team scored 67 points in out running Bear Lake 91, Mtn View 113 and Twin Falls 139. There were 20 total teams. Complete Varsity girls results.
The Varsity boys also ran very well despite having to overcome the absence of #2 runner Max Hardy (due to a cold) and the loss of Kenton Freemuth's shoe at the start of the race. As a team the boys placed a very encouraging 3rd behind Mtn View and Twin Falls. Eric Fitzpatrick once again ran a very strong and intelligent race. Running with the lead pack until the hills at the halfway point and then powering away to the win. Greg Montgomery continues to improve and finished 10th, Taylor Molenaar was 34th, Walker Grimshaw 54th, Kenton Freemuth minus the one shoe 65th, and Tim Ronan finished 103rd.
